I’m Glenn Welker and I currently work for Granville Exempted Village School District which is located in Granville Ohio.

Previous to my current position, I worked as a Software Developer. I have also worked in advertising and video production roles.

Moving into a System Administrators role has been fascinating and challenging. Software Developers ideally fix their problems (bugs) as they are discovered. Sys Admins on the other hand are often left in a position of helplessness. Sometimes knowing what the problem is doesn’t necessarily provide answers. Hopefully, what solutions I do find will be featured here.

On a personal note, I am happily married with two beautiful children. I have degrees from The Ohio State University and Bowling Green State University.  I love gardening, being outdoors, music, happy people, books, staying active… actually, it may be easier to make a list of things I don’t like 🙂
